Baby Love Counting Toes

Title:  Baby Love Counting Toes
Author: N/a
Illustrator: N/a
Publisher:  DK Publishing
Genre:  Baby
Level: Baby
Number of Pages: 12
Pub. Date: 2004

Summary: This book counts to ten with pictures of things that babies would like, for example teddy bears, little shoes, ducks, etc. and ends with a page full of yellow ducks with one pink on mixed in and asks if they can count them and find the pink one.

Critique: The pages of this book are hard cardboard so they can be easily wiped off, but if they were to get really wet or chewed on I don’t think that it would hold up very well. The pictures are colored, but they don’t allow for any opportunities to touch, make noise, smell or taste anything.

Response: This book was really cute with the little baby toes. It really tugs at the heartstrings and would probably particularly appeal to the mothers that would be buying the book. Even though I’m not a mother yet, it still definitely make me smile and say ‘aww.’
